Finding the right baptist church is not easy. Sometimes, you have this clear picture of what a church is and isn’t. You are not alone on this unfortunate dilemma.

There are a lot of different ideas of what a church should look like. Presently, today’s church values will practically suit to anyone. On the surface, this is a great thing. People are finding safe places where they can worship and find community with like-minded believers.

But with so many options and so many different styles, it can be calm to just go from church to church. This may result in never really finding what you’re looking for. There is no such thing as a picture-perfect baptist church. Each one will bring about a positive and negative aspect moving forward. You don’t need to roll your eyes just because something has rub you the wrong way. Get a hold of yourself and stop packing your bag.

Speak to one another with the words of psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing hymns and psalms to the Lord with praise in your hearts. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, always give thanks for everything to God the Father.

This is stating the obvious. Your existence here on earth is for you to worship God the Father. Where will you do such a worship? Inside the baptist church. However, worship is not just about listening to the church service or singing of songs…it is about communication. Ultimately it is about your intimate communication with God. The church is the vessel which connects you with God not only through church services but all throughout your lifetime.

A baptist church that is a haven for learning

Through God's words we gain an understanding that God is the one who gives the gift of knowledge- that is an understanding or awareness of something. The Lord however, grants knowledge to those who have an honest relationship with him. This collection of bible verses gives insights to the value of knowledge and the path to gaining it.

The baptist church provides a lot of opportunities for learning to help you grow in your relationship with God. That is why one is expected to attend the regular church meets in order to help build the church’s body.

However, with today’s technology, if one is unable to physically attend due to an illness then the internet has been a wonderful resource. You can stay in unity with your church family and learn what they are learning by listening online.

A baptist church that carries out website discipline when necessary, is a good church. Just as a parent disciplines a child to keep them from running out into the street to keep them from harm, so also a church exercises love when they discipline a church member when it is deemed necessary.

Remember that no baptist church is perfect. So, one needs to get involved and build relationships with other members. You should take time to be thorough and be present always as you grow in the grace and knowledge of God.
